Review: Did half the people who watched the movie understand it? Or comprehend that the ending overly cliche? I mean, the movie has the same ending as about half the the poorly rated movies of 2007/2008...Silent Hill ring a bell to anyone?  It's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Matrix and The Italian Job.  I sat through the movies bored.  My friend that went with me actually asked me if I wanted to leave early.  I should have just to prove a point, but we drove an hour and a half to Annapolis, MD for the premier of the movie [we actually saw it on July 11th] and I wasn't going to let the trip be wasted.  It was, however.  I'm going through and reading other movie reviews because I don't know exactly how to explain how bad this movie is...that's how bad it is.  So, let me phrase it as one person has, "There are three type of movie-goers; dumb people, intelligent people and dumb people who like feel as though they're intelligent. This movie is aimed at the latter group (and it turns out there is an awful lot of them).  Dumb people who like to feel as though they're intelligent are easy to spot. They confuse 'complicated' with 'complex', 'contrived' with 'multi-layered', 'pretentious' with 'thought-provoking' and 'vague' with 'open to interpretation'. Their dumbness prevents them from articulating their arguments, so they have invented a multi-purpose four-word response which they fire off at any and all criticism they may encounter; 'You don't get it'.  Actually, we do get 'it'."  I felt like doing a -facepalm- when I left the theater and asked myself if I really sat through that entire film or was it a 'dream inside of a dream inside of dream about going to a movie that's a dream inside of a dream inside of dram...'

It's Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Matrix and The Italian Job. I sat through the movies bored.

So if we liked those movies, we might like Inception? Because I have to say, I'm quite surprised to see you citing those movies as "boring".

It was a typo. It was suppose to say I was bored.through the movie. It was all those movies into one and its all ready been seen and done.

To be fair, they could say that Inception was a combination of all those movies on the poster and it wouldn't generally be seen as a criticism. Those are three very different movies, so combining them isn't really as hackneyed as you seem to be making out.

I must say I'm very surprised that you were bored by Inception since it was, essentially, an action movie.
